As a motocross racer, I had the unique and wonderful experience of contributing to an innovative online digital magazine by a friend, called Eastern Dirt. I wrote and photographed product reviews, technique articles, and bike tests.

2007 Request for Motocross Sponsorship
Racing is expensive, so I put together a marketing/sponsorship request to send out and get some product and monetary support from various brands in the industry. Sponsorhouse.com was a popular and easy way to get this done in prior years but sometimes you needed to reach out to local companies directly. Here is the presentation I used in 2007.

Web App: RSSza
RSSza was a website I developed in 2007, it was essentially a content/link aggregator which periodically ran pulling in news and information from RSS feeds. It was probably the first web app I had developed which got some traction and I received some good, and constructive comments from folks on various areas of improvement. After some feedback the site was considered “information overload”, I let users create a profile and customize their feeds.
I shut the site down in around 2011.

List: My Websites
A list of web sites I have designed and built over the years. Majority were full-stack projects and a couple are still online and going strong.
List: Print Projects
While I am not a designer, I have always loved the concept, process and experimentation aspects of print projects. I grew up with Dot Matrix printers and the allure of bringing digital to reality grasped my attention early in life. These are some of the projects I have created digitally and subsequently printed for personal, marketing or informational needs.

List: My Open Source Projects
As a huge believer and consumer of open source software, tools or frameworks, I have enjoyed giving back to the community through a variety of projects.

Photo Mosaics
I handmade (drag and dropped!) a couple hundred photos to make this photo mosaic for Kate in 2004. The photos were from a CR ROM Stock Photography company (Photodisc). I made a couple more but no longer have the files 🙁
